Moving wall

This wall was meant to mimic the movement of schools of fish. We did this by having a mechanism on a graphic wall. The school of fish that moves are placed on an acrylic diecut piece mounted to the wall.

Fun fact: the walls in this exhibition are slightly leant forwards and backwards in certain parts in order to provide the feeling of constriction and expansion in the ocean.

Kelp wall section

IMG_3277.jpg

This section depicts kelp death. we achieve this by using a synthetic fabric which we layer and print a gradient on. As the installation goes on the gradient becomes more bland.

in order to achieve this texture we chose a material that curled when ripped by hand into 3 sections.
